Julia Roberts plays a screwed up country girl living in Hale. she dresses her men up as grooms before she dumps them at the altar. She has preformed the tragedy three times, but all are unintentional. She has the next lined up when reporter Ike Graham shows up on the scene to ruin the wedding and get an article on it. Maggie had him fired for using false information in his article so he was given one last chance for clarification.
