Plot
Runaway Bride starring Julia Roberts as Maggie Carpenter and Richard Gere as Ike Graham is another unforgetable magical movie. A story or small-town girl Maggie Carpenter who runs from her weddings. Columnist Ike Graham writes a partially fictional editorial on Maggie and called in fact. Maggie, a week from the wedding reads the article and complains getting Ike fired. Ike is given one last chance to verify that although his facts weren't straight, his theory was correct and if she ran again he would get a cover story. Ike goes to Hale and followed Maggie around learning more and more about her story, making friends with many of the towns people. The deeper Ike gets into the story the more he finds he is falling in love with Maggie.

Review
This movie was directed by Gary Marhsall, the same director of Pretty Woman where Roberts and Gere last starred together to make a smash hit in the box office. Roberts and Gere made magic again in Runaway Bride, I thought they together they played their characters with excellent enthusiasm. The plot is fairly outrageous but it was stil fun to watch the hollywood couple bicker at each other. Gere plays quite the romantic reporter when he finally expresses himself to Roberts. I find that the best part of the movie is when you see Gere and Roberts together when they're laughing and smiling. I think they make a great image of a couple in love. Overall it's a great movie that shows Gere and Roberts together again in another sucessful romantic comedy.
